Pittsfield Deer Santa Festival

Here is what we have planned so far:
• Ornament & Mug Decorating from 2:30-4:30 p.m. with the Pike County Art Guild – 117 1/2 North Madison (behind Filberts insurance).

• One of Santa’s reindeer will be visiting the square from the North Pole from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

• Deer Santa Deer Display

• Photos with Santa

• A Light Parade around the square

• Carolers

• A performance by S&S Dance Studio

• Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m.; this will be done on the evergreen tree on the west side of the courthouse lawn.

We will continue to add details as we finalize things!

We can use the community’s help:
• If you are interested in being part of the parade, contact Kaye Iftner by emailing kiftner@gmail.com.

• If you are part of a choir that would like to sing a few Christmas carols, please contact Camden Arnold at PicturePittsfield@gmail.com to get on the schedule and submit your song list to avoid duplicating songs.

• If you are a business owner on or near the Pittsfield square, we’d love for you to be open that afternoon/evening with Christmas decorations outside, Christmas carols playing, etc. There will be a lot of hungry families at 6 p.m., so restaurants may want to have some yummy dinner and dessert options. We’ll be happy to add you as a co-host to this Facebook event and promote any specials you’ve got going on.

• If you are a vendor who would like booth space for this event, contact Casey Beck at picturepittsfieldvendors@gmail.com. There is no charge to set up, but you will need insurance. Applications can also be downloaded from DeerSantaFestival.com.
