Two Rivers Jeep Club (based in Pike County)

The Two Rivers Jeep Club

The Two Rivers Jeep Club (TRJC) was established in 1992 and is the world’s largest all-Jeep wheeling club with dedicated trails on 100% private lands.  Current membership is well over 200 with members from over ten states.  TRJC runs on about 6,000 acres of 100% private land, in West Central Illinois’ Pike County and is headquartered in Pittsfield, Illinois (between Hannibal and Springfield just off of I-72).  They offer up to fifteen trails rated from 1 through 5 with various types of terrain.

Besides club runs and work days, TRJC offers two open events each year.   Combined, these events draw approximately 500 vehicles and 900 people.  People have attended from over 20 states and our events have been covered in many of the major 4WD magazines. This year the two “open” events were the 11th Annual Illini 4x4 Safari (May 10-12, 2012) and the 14th Annual 4x4 BLAST coming up on August 2- 4, 2012.

Since these two events are hosted directly by Two Rivers Jeep Club, 100% of all raffle proceeds and over 85% of the registration fees (up to as much as $19,000.00 in a single year) go back into the Pike County community and surrounding area that so enthusiastically supports the club.   Through the generosity of our many sponsors and the support of people attending our events we have been able to purchase public safety items such as the Jaws of Life for local Fire Departments, support the Pittsfield VFW, the Pittsfield American Legion, the local food pantry, The Community Center, help provide Christmas baskets, and many other charities in the local area.
