Pike County loves festivals and parades. During the summer and fall our communities celebrate with hometown festivals featuring great food, parades, excellent entertainment and activities for the kids.
2017 Parade schedule- March 13 version
In addition, we have many other events- runs, walks, sports tournaments, off road jeeping, fundraising dinners and much more!
The Chamber tries to keep a listing of these events in our calendar (assessable on the front page) and when we have it, provide the full schedule for an event in an easy, printable format. We attempt to provide contact information for the events to encourage your participation.
This is an ever-changing list as events and contact people are added, deleted, or changed.
The Calendar of Events changes regularly, so check back often. If you wish to be added to our email distribution list for notification of changes and special events, send an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you'd like to add a Pike County, Illinois event, send an email to that same address. We will need the "who, what, when, where, and why" of your event.
The "big daddy" of the festivals in the county is the Pike County Color Drive, which is held the third full weekend of October each year. It is a countywide event organized by representatives of each participating community. The Color Drive has its own website, and can be found on Facebook. The best place to start is at this link.
The list of 2017 parades is linked above with the information we have as of March 13, 2017. Things change so check back often. We will date each version and note the changes in red.
