Camping in Pike County

Lake Pittsfield, with its 200 acres of water in a 480 acre park is approximately two (2) miles Northeast of Pittsfield and is easily accessible from Illinois State Route 106 and U.S.Route 54. Activities and facilities include: camping,fishing,boating,lighted baseball and softball diamonds, picnic areas,trailer dumping station, public telephone,treated drinking water available at several locations,lighted areas,electrical hookups, and numerous restrooms. The Jerome Martin Campground in Pleasant Hill is managed by the Village of Pleasant Hill, 217-734-2113.


Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Pine Lakes is the place to come for family fun.  Located on the north side of Pittsfield, the resort offers camping sites, cabins and cottages.  They also welcome seasonal campers by offering seasonal sites.  Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Pine Lakes offers swimming, fishing, boating, and many other campground activities.  There are planned and themed events most weekends and special holiday activities.  You can rent golf carts, boats, and pavilions.  Fully stocked Camp Store.
