The
Icehouse Inn, Inc. is a beautiful motel newly
opened in an existing structure originally used
to store ice for a processing facility at the turn
of the l9th century. Owners Frannie Shelton and
Steven Tice invite you and yours to The Icehouse
Inn, a modern facility sensitive to the needs of
all people. The lobby has a spacious and comfortable
reception area where customers can relax and watch
cable television. Three acres of land allows for
plenty of parking for all types of vehicles, including
parking for the ADA accessible building and sufficient
space for 12 semi-tractor/trailer vehicles.

The three
story construction of the building, having been
completed in the late l9th century, features solid
limestone walls. These exterior walls create a very
distinctive and attractive base, esthetically appealing
to the eye and consistent with the rural atmosphere
of the geographic area. Flower beds and extensive
landscaping create a homey, comfortable atmosphere
for weary travelers and sightseers alike. The building's
exterior currently features attractive wood decks
which will be expanded and will feature log homestyle
gables.
