Education in Pike County
There are four school districts within the Pike County school system. These districts are organized around the largest towns in the county, each with its own superintendent, and school board. Districts are made up of a grade school and a high school. An alternative school is located in Pittsfield. Computer labs are among the school resources. The Pikeland School District (Pittsfield) is typical for the county. The average high school enrollment in Pittsfield is 400 students.
