New Canton
Park at New Canton
The town of New Canton sits at the base of the Mississippi
River bluffs. The Great River Road passes directly
through town.
Historically Pike Countians have been self-sufficient
in growing their own food and feed for livestock.
New Canton celebrates the harvest with a festival
in the fall. Usually there is cider and apple butter
being made in the park the weekend of Fall Color
Drive and Open House.
