Atlas
Atlas,
the oldest town in the county, was the county seat
from 1824-1833. The county's oldest inhabitable
brick building, erected in 1823, has been remodeled
and is now a private home. This building has been
an inn, stage coach stop and tavern. Atlas was home
to Brigham Young for a period of seven weeks.
