Thanks for considering membership in the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. As a Chamber member your business will be promoted first by the Chamber. In addition to the general benefits of membership listed in our Investment Schedule, here are some specific member and new member offers
Free business card or event brochure placement in the Pike County Visitors Center. The Chamber maintains a Pike County Visitors Center, located at 224 W Washington, to assist visitors to our area.
Free listing on the Chamber web site under ‘Members Directory’. Listed will be your business name, contact name, phone number, web site and/or e-mail address.
Auto-Owners Insurance Special Chamber Savings Program offers Pike County Chamber Members discounts on your business and professional insurance. Contact your agent for details or the Chamber office if you need a listing of these agents.
Air Evac Lifeteam offers all Chamber member businesses and their employees discounted memberships. Contact the Chamber office for an application.
Option to buy advertising space on the Chamber’s Time & Temperature System. This system has been receiving between 3,000-6,000 calls per month. The cost is $360 per year and you can change your ad when needed. If you want to experience the system in action, call 217-285-6600.
Free participation in the Chamber Bucks program. This is a Gift-Check program designed to promote shopping locally. It is very convenient for our members.
The Chamber News (our newsletter) comes out quarterly and is mailed to all current Chamber members. This is an excellent way to keep up with area news and network within our own organization. We will be happy include a full page flyer that you have made for only $25. Just bring us 250 copies of your flyer and we’ll do the rest!
Email Blasts for special promotions/events. Have something special you’d like communicated? The Chamber can help you get the word out via email.
Monthly “Networking after Hours” events give you the opportunity to meet with other business leaders. Members are invited to host events at their places of business. Other opportunities for networking include Chamber sponsored workshops, our annual Dinner Meeting, Golf Outing, and Fall Cook-out.
New Pike County Chamber members receive a coupon for a ‘FREE’ ¼ page ad in the Pike Press. The coupon must be used within 45 days of joining the Chamber.
New Pike County Chamber members also receive a coupon valued at $100 for radio advertising on WBBA Radio. The coupon is not for use 2 weeks prior to general elections, and from December 1st through December 25th.
We produce a Pike County Visitor’s Guide with all lodging, restaurants, and other points of interest listed. For the balance of 2012, we will be working on a Members Business Directory, and a Relocation Packet for prospective new residents. Advertising opportunities are available.
